Missionistas! Youth Confirmation Process (7th-12th graders)
Miss Molly Collins will be leading Youth Confirmation Classes for rising 7th-12 graders this year at SJEC. The first class will be held on Sunday, September 13th from 12:00-1:00 PM in the SJEC Youth Room. The Youth Confirmation process (a.k.a. “Missionistas”) will consist of classes, service projects, reading requirements, journaling and field trips. A complete schedule of classes is available in the back of the church today. There will be a required informational meeting for parents and students interested in participating in the Youth Confirmation Process on Sunday, August 30 at 11:45 AM in the SJEC Youth Room. SJEC Youth who participate in this process will be eligible to be confirmed by the Bishop in the fall of 2010, thus SJEC youth are not eligible to be confirmed by the Bishop on September 20, 2009.
